I clip for a small Discord. Is the overlay streamproof on OBS, or will my ESP and menu show up in the recording?
I do not want to expose myself in a highlight. Has anyone tested OBS game capture with it on?

I record with OBS game capture. Overlay stays off the file on my end. Window capture is the one that can leak the menu.

Test a local OBS game capture before you go live. Game capture usually misses the overlay; window capture and display capture can show it. If a clip still leaks, turn ESP off while you record and write Support with the capture type.

So game capture is the safe test, not display capture?

Yeah. I do a 30-second local recording with ESP on, then watch it back before I post anything.

Discord overlay can fight it too. Kill that while you test OBS.

Game capture test was clean — no ESP in the file. Thanks, that is the streamproof answer I needed.

Re-test after a rebuild. Capture quirks can change with a new overlay build.
